mindLab Excel is a live online Python and AI academy for students ages 11–18. Students learn Python from scratch, build real-world projects, and develop future-ready AI skills.
It is designed for middle and high school students, from complete beginners to students with prior coding experience.
Yes. Detailed class notes are provided at the end of each class. Students can use them to review and reinforce what they learned, support independent study, and refer back to important concepts as they progress through the course.

Variables, loops, functions, data structures, files, debugging, projects and more.
Yes. Throughout the course, students explore how Python connects to AI through relevant examples, activities, and projects, helping them understand Python’s important role in AI.
Python is the most widely used language for AI and Machine Learning.
No. The use of AI tools such as ChatGPT is not permitted in this course. We emphasize organic, hands-on learning, teaching concepts from the fundamentals so students develop strong programming foundations,
problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking skills.
All classes are conducted 100% live online through Zoom.
Maximum six students.
Yes. Detailed class notes are provided at the end of every class. They are especially useful for reviewing the lesson after class, self-study, and future reference. If a student misses a class, the notes can also help them catch up on the material covered, and they can contact the instructor for additional clarification.
Yes. Every class is taught live by an instructor.
Laptop/desktop, internet, Zoom, microphone; webcam recommended.
Yes. Students interact throughout class and can share screens.

No, we do not currently offer a free trial class. Before enrollment, the student and parent(s) meet with the instructor to discuss the program, ask questions, and determine whether the course is a good fit for the student.
There is no long-term commitment or contract. Tuition is paid monthly, and students may leave the program at any time. MindLab Excel also reserves the right to discontinue a student’s enrollment when necessary, including in cases of inappropriate or disruptive behavior.

The course concludes after six months, and active instruction and support from MindLab Excel end with the program. By that point, students will have developed a solid foundation in Python programming, problem-solving, and analytical thinking. They can use these skills to continue learning independently and apply Python to areas that interest them, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other technology fields.
